HERE IS HOW IT WORKS!

The principle behind "Foxlights" is that it gives the impression someone could be patrolling in the area with a flashlight. To create this illusion in a way a standard flashing light can't, a computer chip controls a random and varying flash.  A light sensor triggers the flash of nine LED bulbs between sunset and sunrise.

Foxlights are powered by a standard 6volt torch battery giving at least 5 to 6 months of flash.  When the battery runs low, the lights will fade down before stopping.  (Battery is not included).

Set the lights at approx. 100 to 150 metres apart on star posts in the area where stock is likely to sleep. As a rough guide we recommend 4 lights for 100 sheep and 6 for 200 sheep. This will vary with different levels of vegetation.  In the case of free range poultry set lights near roosting pens or sleeping areas.

We continue to run tests against wild animals in Australia, Africa, North America and Europe finding most feed back very positive. Ifyou would like to commend on any findings, please contact us.

Foxlights are designed as an aid in the deterrent of night predators, but may not succed against all attacks.
